Samantha Figueiras, MSN, APRN, ACNPC-AG, is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in acute care gerontology. She has over seven years of nursing experience across multiple specialties, including critical care, palliative care, orthopedics, and cardiology. In addition to her clinical background, she has prior experience in nursing leadership, where she supported team collaboration, patient safety initiatives, and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she completed advanced clinical rotations in infectious disease, intensive care, internal medicine, and palliative care. Her clinical focus centers on providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients, with an emphasis on managing complex medical conditions and improving quality of life.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young children, and dogs. She and her family love traveling and exploring new places together.
