With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare, Cynthia Trujillo Planadeball has developed a solid foundation in the field. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she earned her master’s in nursing from Universidad del Turabo, PR, in 2016 and is dual certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Cynthia has held key leadership roles, including Nursing College Professor and upper management. As an Infection Control Preventionist, she successfully led over 32 tag-free surveys from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Joint Commission during the peak years of the COVID-19 pandemic. She was also in the role of Director of Nurses gaining extensive experience in both hospital and skilled nursing facilities throughout her professional career.
As a proud mother of three daughters, she is passionate about patient education and committed to empowering individuals to take control of their health. Outside of work, Cynthia cherishes family quality time and enjoys capturing moments through photography with them.
